People are too often affected by their negative thoughts and start doubting themselves. The good news is ... we can improve our self-worth by becoming conscious of what we say to ourselves. These educational books are geared towards helping children realize that they can observe and transform their negative thoughts into positive, inspiring and empowering thoughts. Reading or saying positive thoughts with conscious passion - 3 times a day for 28 days - can rescript the brain. Self-worth CAN grow and children CAN realize their value in life.
Many teachers are using class sets in K - Grade 6 classes with great success.

My Magical Night Mare
I wrote this book because a very special 6 year old was having nightmares, I had read an article decades before suggesting the importance of going back in to a nightmare and changing the ending using your imagination so that you would feel better during the day - braver, stronger, safer. I have used it in counselling sessions for children who are being bullied. They imagine a power animal by their side - and they feel stronger. Bullies are attracted to weakness. Feedback from parents is that children don't waken them when they have a nightmare anymore; they just imagine an ending where they are the heroes. It works! March Hutchinson has done beautiful illustrations to bring life to the words.
Use as a teaching resource to develop imagination skills, and to empower children to avoid being bullied.
